Well after a lengthly absence I have decided to resume my blog account. My original thought was that I would prefer to post on the built-in blog on my www.blackdogbooks.net site, but it seems to get lost in the midst of other things on the site.

I'll try to post updates about new coming titles and the like as well as other general rambles on a frequent basis.

Status Update on THE GOOD DIE YOUNG by Cornell Woolrich from Black Dog books.

There has been an issue with the die stamping on the spine of this limited edition hardcover title. As soon as the printer can resolve there own internal issues and fix the problem this book will print and ship.

THE GOOD DIE YOUNG is running behind from the printer. I am still awaiting the proofing copy from them.
Originally scheduled to ship mid to late May 2008, it will need to ship mid to late June 2008.

Well, the winners were announced and awards presented at the BEA (Book Expo America) in Los Angeles yesterday for the "Book of the Year" awards.

My book, ALEX RAYMOND: HIS LIFE AND ART won the silver medal (2nd place) in the popular culture category.
